There are many resources available online and it can be difficult deciding what is useful. There are several excellent NHS resources you can search and other cognitive behaviour therapy resources including www.getselfhelp.co.uk, Living Life to the Full www.llttf.com and Beating the Blues www.beatingtheblues.co.uk. Beating the blues is another excellent programme for anxiety and depression that the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Board have paid for all Northern Ireland residents to be able to access, just ask your GP receptionist for an activation code. Your local library will have useful resources too. Reading these materials can help you assess if you need 1:1 therapy and at the very least, may help you gain a fuller understanding of your difficulties.
