I currently work as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS. I am chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and am a member of the Division of Clinical Psychology. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the body that regulates the profession of psychology. My work adheres to the Codes of Ethics and Professional Practice of both organisations.

I completed my Degree (1999) and Masters (2000) level qualifications while pursing further qualifications and experience in counselling. After working for the Northern Ireland Central Survey Agency as a statistician, I moved to concentrate on therapy and commenced work with the Clinical Psychology Department of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust in 2003. I gained my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2008 and have been working in various roles with adults and families in individual, group, inpatient and outpatient settings since. I teach on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Queens University, Belfast. Continuing Professional Development is very important to me and I was very pleased to achieved accreditation in Schema Therapy in 2016.
